Helping clients get what they want

Do you truly understand what your clients want? I’ve learned that people don’t always want what I think they need. Building a clear picture of the success metric based on what my client wants allows me to always being working toward this goal.

What do your clients want? Can you answer this question? Is it elevating their status as the go-to leader in their organization? Is it adding visibility throughout their teams to ensure everyone is working toward the key metrics that are true business health indicators? Is it building a report that has an automated data refresh, so they don’t have to manually reset it every morning?

All of these are examples of valid success metrics that can be tracked if you know what your client wants.
